Simplified Visa Policy: France is always more attractive!

Since 1 November, under the new immigration law of 7 March 2016, France is again relaxed its visa allocation policy. “For stays of less than 90 days: Temporary Work Permit is no longer required for the following travelers:

  • Researchers and scientists
  • Professors invited by a university
  • Participants in educational and research symposia and seminars
  • Artistic and cultural occupations
  • Cinematographic and audiovisual production
  • Sporting
  • Mannequins
  • House staff

For stays of more than 90 days, France sets up the “Passport talent”. This new type of visa will facilitate administrative procedures in France for applications for residence permits. The following audiences are eligible for the “Passport talent”:

  • Researchers and scientists
  • Artists-performers
  • Business creators
  • Economic Investors
  • Innovative economic project leaders
  • Highly qualified employees
  • Employees on mission (under certain conditions)
  • European Credit Card
  • Any person of national or international renown in his field (professional, academic, artistic, sports, …).
