Applications processed by TLScontact

By agreement with the Embassy and the Consulates of France in China, applicants for the visas listed below could apply at TLScontact Visa Application Centres:

• Employees and accompanying spouse and children of entities accredited by the Consulate.

The accredited entity may contact TLScontact Visa Application Centre via email by providing the entity’s full name and contact details in order to get a special account for accredited entity. Please note that only email requests relevant to the applications of accredited entities will be processed.

N.B. The TLScontact procedure is not compulsory. Applicants may also submit their applications directly to the Embassy and Consulates General of France in China.

Beijing Consular Zone:

Applications processed directly by the French Embassy in Beijing

• Adoption;
• Holders of diplomatic, service or public affairs passports.

Visa applications can be processed either by TLScontact or by the consular service

• Spouse and Children of a French citizen (short stay and long stay);

Chengdu Consular Zone:

Applications processed directly by the French Consulate in Chengdu

• Return visa;
• Adoption;
• Children of a French citizen;
• Holders of diplomatic, service or public affairs passports.

Visa applications can be processed either by TLScontact or by the consular service:

• Spouse of a French citizen (short stay and long stay).

Guangzhou Consular Zone:

Applications processed directly by the French Consulate in Guangzhou

• Adoption;
• Holders of diplomatic, service or public affairs passports.

Visa applications can be processed either by TLScontact or by the consular service:

• Short Stay Spouse of French national;
• Long Stay Spouse of French national;
• Short Stay Child a French national;
• Return visa.

Shanghai,Shenyang and Wuhan Consular Zone:

N.B. The TLScontact procedure is not compulsory. Applicants may also submit their applications directly to the Consulates General of France in China with prior appointment through TLScontact call centre. The estimated time to get an appointment is 20 days.

For the visa types listed below, applicants should apply directly at the Consulates General of France in China after booking an appointment through TLScontact call centre.
