Dear applicants, the Visa Application Centre in Beijing has reopened from 6th December 2022. If you have a green Beijing health code, you may attend the building wearing a face mask. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

All types of visa applications for private passports are normally received at the Visa Application Center, except special circumstances, all received files will be sent to the French Embassy in Beijing on the next working day. For detailed application procedures, please refer to procedure page.

2nd August 2022

In view of the new phase of the pandemic, the sanitary control system at the borders is lifted, in accordance with the law putting an end to the exceptional regimes created to fight the epidemic linked to covid-19.

As a result, as of August 1, 2022, the rules previously applied to travelers to France no longer apply:

• travelers no longer have to complete any formalities before arriving in France, whether in metropolitan or overseas France, and the presentation of a health pass can no longer be required, regardless of the country or zone of origin;
• no more justification for travel (the "compelling reason") can be required;
• travelers are no longer required to present a sworn statement of non-contamination and a commitment to undergo an antigenic test or a biological examination upon arrival in the country.

The same applies to travel between metropolitan France and each of the overseas territories.

Similarly, no justification of the reason for a trip from France, in metropolitan France or overseas, nor any certificate of exit from the territory is required by the French authorities to travel to another country.

All categories of short or long stay visa applications are now admissible (tourism, private visit, business, employment, studies, private family life .....) without restriction.

From 1st August 2022, Visa application Centre of Beijing will be relocated to following address: Room 1009-1010, Yingdi Center (Tower A, Wangxin building), Chaoyang district Beijing. Our Centre in 3F Parkview Green, No.9 Dongdaqiao Road, Chaoyang District will be closed from 1st August 2022.
