Welcome to TLScontact

The Embassy of France in Indonesia authorizes TLScontact to inform and advise the public on the visa applications procedures, to receive the visa applications, collect the visas fees and return the passports to the applicants at the end of the process.

The applications received by TLScontact are transferred to the Embassy of France, which has the exclusive responsibility to instruct the applications and to decide to grant or deny a visa, or request additional information. TLScontact is therefore not involved in the decision step of the visa application, and is not aware of its outcome as passports are returned by the Embassy of France in sealed envelopes.

From the 1st of November 2015 onwards, by agreement with the Embassy of France in Indonesia, applicants for all visa types should apply at TLScontact except:

  • Applications for one of the African countries represented by France (Burkina Faso, Djibouti, Gabon, Mauritania, Central African Republic, Togo)*
  • Adoption
  • Diplomatic passport

Embassy of France in Indonesia is only able to accept visa applications from residents in Indonesia (Article No. 2008-1176 of November 13, 2008). Visa applications from non-residents, including Indonesian nationals, who are settled in another country, can only be processed if applicants can prove that they have an urgent and unforeseen need to travel to France whilst visiting Indonesia and thus are unable to apply in their country of residence.

The TLScontact procedure is not compulsory; applicants can submit their applications to the Embassy of France in Indonesia by appointment only.
