From the 1st of November onwards, by agreement with the Embassy of France in Indonesia, applicants for all visa types should apply at TLScontact except:

  • Applications for one of the African countries represented by France (Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Djibouti, Gabon, Mauritania, Central African Republic, Senegal, Togo)*
  • Adoption
  • Diplomatic passport

Embassy of France in Indonesia is only able to accept visa applications from residents in Indonesia (Article No. 2008-1176 of November 13, 2008). Visa applications from non-residents, including Indonesian nationals, who are settled in another country, can only be processed if applicants can prove that they have an urgent and unforeseen need to travel to France whilst visiting Indonesia and thus are unable to apply in their country of residence.

From the 16th of August 2014 onwards, holders of Indonesian diplomatic passports and of Indonesian service passports are exempted of visa for visits in France (except Monaco) totaling no more than 30 days for a 180 days period.

The TLScontact procedure is not compulsory; applicants can submit their applications to the Embassy of France in Indonesia by appointment only.
