Travel Insurance

A specific Travel Insurance, 100% compliant with the Schengen requirements is mandatory for your visa application under the European Union regulation - Decision 810/2009 of 13 July 2009.

If the Travel Insurance does not comply with Schengen requirements, this may be grounds for a visa refusal.
You are free to choose your Insurance and Insurer subject to your country's laws/regulators:

Pay attention to fake Schengen Travel Insurance, fake approved websites, and any street sellers.

To find additional information, you can get in touch with Insurté, a registered Insurance Broker, who provides the compliant Schengen Travel Insurance of the three worldwide leaders Allianz, AXA and Europ Assistance.
