From March 17th 2016, on behalf of the Embassy of France in Vietnam, TLScontact is appointed to:
- Inform the public on visas procedures,
- receive visa applications and collect the biometric data of applicant,
- collect visa fees,
- return passports to the applicants after instruction from French authorities
Benefits of outsourcing with a service provider
Outsourcing aims to ensure good facilities for the visa applicants in a sole and dedicated centre within a full respect of confidentiality and by providing a quality of care.
Processing time
Although the average processing time is usually much faster than the statutory period of 15 days, for your comfort and your convenience, we suggest that you submit your short stay visa application at least 15 days before your intended travel date.
For long stay visa applications, we advise you to apply at least 1 month prior to your expected departure date.

How to submit your visa application
To apply for a visa, you should first register on the France-Visas website, and then follow the instructions.

The Embassy of France in Hanoi and the Consulate General of France in Ho Chi Minh City would like to inform you that visa applications are admissible without geographical restrictions in TLScontact Centres in Vietnam.
As a result, applicants are free to apply at the Centre of their choice.
Important: Once registered online at one of these Centres, your application will be attached to it. If you subsequently wish to change your Centre, you will need to contact us via our online form or by calling +84 (0) 24 3939 2662

Note: It is not mandatory to apply for a visa with TLScontact. The French Embassy in Hanoi and the Consulate General of France in Ho Chi Minh City can also receive visa applications directly. Nevertheless, the management of these appointments has been entrusted to TLScontact.
